About the Temple
Sri Raja Rajeswary Temple, Ulu Kelang
Sri Raja Rajeswary Temple, located in the peaceful hills of Ulu Kelang, Ampang, has served as a sacred spiritual sanctuary for over 60 years. Established in 1973 through the devoted efforts of the late Mr. K. Suppiah, the temple continues to be a center of devotion, culture, and unity for the Hindu community of Kuala Lumpur.
Initially registered as Sri Mariamman Temple, it was renamed upon scholarly advice to honor Devi Raja Rajeswary, the Divine Mother. Surrounded by sacred trees and flowing waters, the temple offers a divine and serene setting for worship.
From its consecration in 1977 to the present day, the temple has stood as a symbol of spiritual strength and community devotion. Sanctums for Ganesha, Vishnu Durga, Bala Subramaniam, and more, reflect its inclusive and divine aura.
The temple regularly hosts pujas, festivals, and community events, continuing its sacred mission of uplifting souls and preserving tradition. We welcome all to experience the divine presence of Amma and seek blessings of peace and prosperity.
This temple is not merely built with bricks, but with faith, vision, and divine energy.
