Project Ambal
The Redevelopment of the Sri Raja Rajeswary Temple
The Sri Raja Rajeswary Temple, located at 4½ Miles, Jalan Ulu Kelang, Ampang along the Middle Ring Road (MRR 2), was established in 1977 on a 1/3 acre plot. Since its inception, it has spiritually served the Hindu community of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and beyond.
The Temple's vision is to offer a divine space where devotees can deepen their spiritual connection and contribute to harmonious community living. This vision will now take shape through a bold new plan — Project Ambal.
Over the decades, the Temple has successfully conducted four Maha Kumbaabishegam (consecration ceremonies) every twelve years. Beyond spirituality, it has nurtured educational and cultural growth in the region.
This transformative project is estimated to cost RM8.5 million and aims to upgrade current facilities, ensuring space for future expansion.
